"Helpful support, even if it took a minute"
I had to reach out to ring support after my doorbell stopped connecting when I switched my WiFi. My first instinct was that it was probably something simple, but I still needed help figuring it out. The chat was a little slow to start, which was frustrating, but the support person was friendly and didn’t make me feel silly for asking basic questions.

They walked me through resetting the doorbell and checking a few settings in the app. After about 20 minutes, it was working again. I wish the wait had been shorter, but I trusted my gut to stick with it, and I’m glad I did. Overall, they were helpful and I’d contact them again if I needed to.

"Ring app just kind of does its job"
The ring app has been solid for me. It opens whenever I need it, no weird hanging or anything, and the alerts come through fast. I keep expecting to miss one or have it lag, but so far... nope, all good.

"Getting it installed was quick and painless..."
Getting it installed was quick and painless, so credit where it’s due. The app, though, took a minute to get itself together, which was a little annoying because of course that’s the part that decides to slow things down. Once it finally loaded and connected, everything was fine.

"Battery has been better than I thought"
I’ve had my ring doorbell for a few months now, and the battery life has surprised me. I even kept the order email and receipt handy thinking I might need to deal with returns if it was a hassle, but it’s been totally fine. I figured I’d be charging it constantly, but it usually lasts for weeks before I have to take it out. When it does need a charge, it’s quick and easy to pop out. Overall, I’m happy with it

"Works well with my smart home setup"
Getting it connected to Alexa was surprisingly easy, and most of the time it works like it should. I do notice a few delays here and there, which makes me wonder if something on their end isn’t quite as polished as they make it seem, but overall it’s been decent.

"Heads up: this is actually worth the price"
Just a quick warning for anyone on the fence: the subscription is cheap enough that it doesn’t feel like a risky buy, it’s been worth what I’m paying for it. I expected less for the price, but it’s actually been solid.

"Motion alerts seem really accurate to me"
I’ve been using my Ring camera for a few months now, the motion alerts have been spot on. It picks up people coming to the door without freaking out every time a car goes by, which was the main thing I was worried about. That’s what you’d hope for from one of these, right?

I did have to mess with the motion zones a bit at the beginning, but once I got those set, it’s been really reliable. The alerts come through fast, and most of the time I can tell right away what triggered it. Overall, I’m happy with it and feel like it’s doing what it’s supposed to

"Privacy settings were easy enough"
I was glad the privacy settings weren’t buried somewhere hard to find. Ring’s controls were straightforward, and the alerts have felt secure so far! I also like that I can manage shaRing and logins without a bunch of hassle... definitely gives me a little more peace of mind.

"Reliable and easy to live with"
I’ve had my Ring doorbell and camera set up for a little over a year now, and overall they’ve been really dependable. I haven’t had any random disconnects or strange glitches, and the app usually opens and works without a fuss. The battery life has been solid too. It’s not the most exciting thing to rave about, but that’s kind of the point, they just do what they’re supposed to when I need them.

"I’ve been using my Ring for a..."
I’ve been using my Ring for a few months now and... the video quality has been solid. It’s clear during the day and even at night I can actually make out faces instead of just blurry blobs. The app loads clips fast enough for me too. Overall, I’m happy with it.
